Christmas Morning - Nana & Papa's

We went to Mom & Dad's around 8:30 AM and had omelette's and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Mom, Dad, Jenny, Ashley, Kaley, Aunt Val, Uncle Randy, Caleb, Kristin, and Grandma & Grandpa Mosley joined us.

I love my Mom's Christmas tree, it's huge,
of course her living room is huge so that helps some too!
Alex and Grandma Mosley enjoying some Christmas morning breakfast.

Emma got the other thing she asked Santa for - a V-Reader from V-Tech. She was so excited! She also got a Tinkerbell Game to go with it. There will be another post alone on the V-Readers, but to say she loves it is just an understatement.

Ethan got 5 talking Dinosaurs, the all talk and interact and are based off of the PBS show Dinosaur Train which he loves right now. He was pretty excited to see all of them and Aunt Ashley helped him get them all opened and put batteries in them.

This is what Christmas morning is all about, just hanging out with family and enjoying each other's company.

Caleb opened his stocking and I got this photo of Jenny trying to tell him all about the ways of grooming for women. I guess you had to be there, but it was a pretty hilarious conversation. Aunt Val and Jenny didn't let up on the poor guy!

More chillin'.

There is actually quite the story behind the V-Readers. Apparently they were the "IT" gift for the year 2010. Both of the kids asked for one but we really didn't think Ethan would be old enough to enjoy or use it. So we got him a Mobigo instead. WRONG decision! We ended up the Monday after Christmas driving all over Lakeland to return the Mobigo and try and find Ethan a V-Reader. After much frustration the mission was successful and now both Emma and Ethan both have one, Emma's is pink, Ethan's is blue, they have two games - Tinkerbell & Toy Story. I am amazed at how fast they picked up on these things and how much they are actually learning while having fun!
We had a great morning at Nana & Papa's house. Off to our house we went for some downtime and naps before heading to Grammie & Papa Bates house for dinner and more presents!
