Christmas Shopping - Date Night

Alex and I went Christmas shopping the Saturday before Christmas. Nana & Papa were kind enough to take the kids for the day and from what I understand they had a blast at Bass Pro Shops, seeing the movie Tangled, and going to Monkey Joes! What a day for them! While we had a blast, it was a CRAZY day of shopping for us as we had to do ALL of our shopping, and it was the day before Christmas, AND it was cold/rainy! So we ran in and out of stores (one in particular multiple times actually!) in the rain. It was still an awesome day of having no time deadlines and being able to spend it together! We also got to eat at my most favorite restaurant for dinner when we were done shopping and Sean and Valerie met us. It was a great way to end the day and we had great company too!
