2010 Lakeland Christmas Parade

As tradition goes we of course attended the 2010 Lakeland Christmas Parade! We have gone eveyr year since I was a littel girl and have taken Emm and Ethan since they were babies. This year the weather was cold so it actually seemed like Christmas! It is one of our favorite ways to bring in the Christmas Season and it's always more fun when we are joined by family and friends! This year of course Nana & Papa were there, and Jenny, Kaley, Caleb (Ashley had to work and we missed her!), The Rippy Family, The Bates Family, and The Valentin Families.

Nana & Papa are amazing, and eveyr year they go into downtown Lakealnd around 7:00 AM to stake out our spot! Emma and Ethan are sitting with Nana on the back of the truck waiting for the roads to close so the fun can begin!
The Rippy Family, Steve, Katie, Ethan, and Adalyne joined us for the second year in a row. We love these guys so much and we all get along so well with them. It was fun to have them!

Mommy and Little Man - look at our eyes against Ethan's shirt! Wow!

Mommy and Emma! Can you tell we are related?!?!

Friends for Life!
Katie & Mandy

The Hanke Family! I love that Katie was able to capture a pic of all of us sitting on the curb enjoying the parade, it's rare we can get a photo of all 4 of us at one time!

Ethan Hanke, Ethan Rippy, and Emma playing while waiting for the parade to begin. It was SO cold and we had everyone bundled all up, but it was a great night!

Enjoying the Parade. Ethan sat with Nana most of the night but I really like this one of Ethan, Alex, Nana & Papa just having fun!

Uncle Andy, Aunt Angel, Caleb & Ellie stole a spot with us this year "again"! LOL! We love it though! Emma and Ellie were best buddies and danced and waved and yelled "Merry Christmas" to each and every float. They also enjoyed some yummy lollipops together.

Here's some of our crowd on the corner. We had a great spot!

Lakeland knows how to do it right! Fireworks off Lake Mirror and the annual parade make for a free and fun family event! Can't wait until next year!
