Day Beach Trip - St. Pete Beach
Alex was off last weekend on Saturday and Sunday (which rarely happens) so we decided to take a family beach trip to St. Pete Beach on Saturday. Mom, Dad, Jenny, Ashley, Kaley, and Caleb joined us and we all had a great time. It was a little warm to begin with but the sea breeze kicked up after a while and we had a lot of fun. It's close to drive to for just the day and the Public Beach is right accross the street from Chick-Fil-A so what more could you possibly want?!?!
Emma has many "favorite" beach activities, which include searching for sea shells for her collection, building sandcastles, and of course swimming, but she has also discovered that making "mud baths" provides for hours of fun! She dug this hole (with a little help from Mommy) and filled it up with water from her beach buckets and I'm not kidding you sunbathed and relaxed in this hole for at least a half an hour! We of course had to refill her water a few times, but hey!
Little Man with his new favorite water toy - his goggles. If Ethan has his swim trunks on then you will see him with his goggles on, they go hand in hand! He used them swimming in the ocean and was able to see little fishies which just made his day!
One of our many sandcastles that have been made over the summer so far.
The water was gorgeous! Caleb, Ashley, Alex, and Ethan were playing ball.
Ethan's new buddy is Caleb! They have a ball together!
