Sea World Trip - May 2010
We're on our way! The kids have just about figured out how long it takes to get to Sea World now, and they have several landmarks they look for along the way. We have really enjoyed our passes and have discovered new things every time we visit!
Mommy, Emma, and Ethan in front of the waterfall outside of the Manta Aquarium.
Manta Aquarium. This one is all in a cave like setting and parts of the roof are glass so you can see the Eagle, Leopard, and Stingray's all swimming up above you. It's pretty amazing. There are several fish tanks with clear walls and the kids just love pressing their faces against the glass to watch all the fish swim by. Right at the end of the aquarium there is a little tunnel you can climb into that is clear all the way around and look up into it. Emma and Ethan always want to go stand in here and this time begged me to come...it was a little crowded but very cool!
The following pictures were our "new" adventure of the day. We had never been to the Underwater Shamu Viewing before and found this back in a little cove, apparently not many other people knew about it either since it wasn't crowded at all. I cannot believe how BIG these animals are up close! Telikum was swimming around and Emma and Ethan were amazed.
Ha Ha Ha...these pictures just make me laugh! They were taken at the Polar Bear caves in the Wild Arctic exhibit. The kids were pretending to be "scared" and so we all took silly pictures!
Just some fun shots of our day. It always makes for a great family time and we have fun together laughing, enjoying the shows, and watching all the sea life.
