Emma's Rainbow Ceremony

Emma attends Rainbow Class on Wednesday night at our main campus at Victory Church and she LOVES it! Every week she can't wait for Wednesday night to roll around so she can go see all her friends and be able to say her newest Bible Verse to Mrs. April her teacher.

Each month the kids are able to earn 1 patch for attendance and memorization of Bible Verses, so for August thru December Emma was able to work on 4 different patches that she would get to put on her vest she wears on Wednesday nights. They have a big ceremony at the end of the school year but also have one half way thru in January in their classroom to get all the patches from the Fall semester. Emma was SO excited about her CEREMONY! She was counting down the days until it got here!

Finally the day came and we fixed her hair extra pretty and got her ready with her vest. She wanted me to take a picture of her and this is what I captured! She's a mess!

This is her Rainbow Class of 3-4 year olds. All her little friends were there; Mya, Emma (there are two in her class!), Joshua, Chase, Victoria, Jacob, and her teachers Mrs. Tabitha (brown shirt) and Mrs. April (blue shirt).

Emma was proud of herself and so are we! She had her own little cheering section as Mommy, Daddy, Ethan, Papa, Nana, Aunt Jenny, Aunt Ashley, and Aunt Kaley came!

We had a little ceremony where each of the kids got to go up and get their patches and awards certificates and then they had a little party afterwards. It was a fun night to watch Emma with all her little friends, she does love to attend on Wednesday nights. Afterwards we "continued with the ceremony" as Emma and Papa said and went to Chick Fil A for dinner at the mall. Of course this is Emma's favorite place of all time so she was feeling pretty special!

We love our girl and are so proud of her for learning so much about Jesus and learning to hide God's words in her heart! Can't wait for Ethan to join her next year!

For all you family out there who keep up with this, be sure to watch out for the invitation to Emma's BIG ceremony coming end of the school year! I know she will want you all to attend!
