Veggie Tales Premiere

I'm going to have to go ahead and do a little bragging here.....we have the most AMAZING children's ministry at Victory Church. Ethan is still learing to "love" the nursery, but Emma is very involved and can't wait to see all her friends at Sunday School or Rainbow Class (Wed nights) when the time comes. Our Preschool ministry hosted a Veggie Tales: Saint Nicholas premeire night the Friday before Thanksgiving and it was such a fun family night!
Emma and Ethan running down the red carpet! There was snow and the entire red carpet was lined with goodie bags and red and green balloons. When Pastor Kelly does something he goes all out!

If you've ever asked my child who her best friend is she will promptly respond - LEXI! I finally had my camera with me once to get a photo of the two of them together.

Along with the movie on the big screen there was also Cookie decorating, a Veggie Tales coloring station, and tons of Christmas decorations and blow ups placed all around the gym.

Here are a bunch of photos of everyone on their blankets waiting for the movie to start. Alex was also off that night so he was able to go with us, it was the perfect way to ring in the Christmas Season.

It's movie time! Can you tell the kids were VERY glued to the screen! And what Christmas movie wouldn't be complete without a little popcorn and hot chocolate. The movie was actually very good, you gotta love a good Veggie Tales movie that is both entertaining and teaches about the love of Jesus! This movie comes highly recommended from our family as a way to teach kids that Christmas is not just about the presents! What a great night, I hope we can do this again soon! Thanks to Pastor Kelly, Mrs Jen, and Mrs. Melanie for putting it all together!
