Hanke Family Staycation 2009

After Alex and my getaway weekend to Orlando we picked the kids up on Tuesday morning they were so excited to have us home. They missed us bunches, but I'm told they were really good while we were away. Emma and Ethan of course had to tell us all about all the fun they had with Nana, Papa, and their Aunts while we were gone. Now that Mommy knows they will spend the night.....look out Nana & Papa....we will be taking advantage of that MUCH more often! HA!

The first adventure in our "staycation" for the week was to Chuck E Cheese. Emma and Ethan LOVE this place, we always try to go first thing in the morning and there is usually hardly anyone around so the kids can just run around and play whatever games they want.

Emma is getting talented with all of the games and is now realizing the point is to win tickets so she tries hard! The bottom right photo is when she and I were playing air hockey and she had just scored on me. She was so proud of herself!

Alex found a game that he could get a ton of tickets on, so we gave him a bunch of tokens and let him get tickets for the kids to get their prizes!

Ethan was a happy little man. His two most favorite things are the choo choo train and the monster truck.

On the way home they both got Happy Meals (which of course made them happy!) and then it was down for a nap....there are many more adventures to follow for the week ahead!
