We had a doctors apt for Ethan at All Childrens in Tampa on Tuesday, Sept 13th and decided to make a family day of it afterwards and use our MOSI swaptember passes to go to the Florida Aquarium. Alex and I had never been and we knew how much the kids had loved Sea World when we had the passes. And of course we incorporated into homeschooling by studying Ocean Life both the week before and afterwards!

Daddy with Emma and Ethan - ready for an afternoon of adventure!

Love this pic of me, Emma, and Ethan!

Emma is SO photogenic it's rediculous! They had an awesome playground area outside the Aquarium that also had a water play area as well. We didn't have the kids suits with us that day but plan to go back and let them play again!

Little Man - who is really not so little anymore!

The Aquarium was pretty impressive and had a lot of sea life. Emma of course wished there were dolphins, but Ethan did like the sharks! :)

When we came out of the shark area Ethan jumped up on this and said "Momma take my picture!" Love the "cheese" face!

There was an area where you could touch the Sea Stars and Anemonoie. The water was SUPER cold, but Emma and Ethan loved it!

Also while we were there we got to see the Penguins on Parade show. Emma and Ethan got a FRONT ROW seat! It was a very educational show and we all learned a lot about the penguins. The kids thought it was amazing to be able to be that close to them! Ethan and Emma both got picked to ask questions as well!

Our family. Love these guys so much!

This was one of the largest tanks and had all sorts of sea life swimming around.

We had been reading about Whales in our studies at home and how they eat Plankton so Emma was especially interested when we saw a tank full of them with a microscope so she could see how small they were.

Emma and Ethan both had a great day at the Aquarium and it was really nice for us to have Alex along for our first field trip as a family!
