Snow Day!

The morning after we checked in we woke up to a beautiful snowy day! Emma was completely fascinated with the snow and Alex was trying to "catch" her a snowflake.

While we slept on Saturday night we got 13" of snow. WOW! Talk about a sight to see when you looked out the window...my most favorite thing is to see the absolutely untouched places that are so perfectly covered with snow. It's also neat to see some of the animal tracks as well where they had walked in the snow during the morning hours.

When we finally got up to our cabin on Sunday morning (after getting stuck and having to be pulled out by a snow plow) Alex had to use the snow shovel to clear a path to the front door! The snow was a good 4-5 feet deep around the cabin and we couldn't even get to the door. That's sure not something you have to worry about in Florida! :)
