Crab Hunting

The second night of our stay at Siesta Key we all went out on the beach after dark. People were still setting off fireworks four days after the 4th! It was fun to see some on the beach...but the real reason we went out was to take flashlights and go crab hunting.

We walked for almost an hour and didn't find a single crab. But the kids had a blast and thought it was the coolest thing ever to walk on teh beach in the dark with their flashlights!

Emma and Nana did however find several clams, and Emma thought they were hilarious because they kept squirting water at her! It was a fun night and we all made some memories!
