Big Sister

Emma is the proudest big sister ever! She loves her little brother and has been really good with him considering all we have been through over the last few days (see below). When we were finally able to have Emma meet Ethan after the Dr cleared her to be around him we took her to my parents house where my Mom has been keeping her since Sunday. When we walked in the door she just smiled from ear to ear, she was so happy to see Mommy and then she realized that Alex was holding a baby! We told her it was Ethan and she just grinned, she wanted to hold him and be "gentle" and then wanted him to get "comfy" with her on her pallet so we let her hold him. As you can see from the picture she is very proud of her Ethan.




Emma was a very sick little girl while I was in the hospital having Ethan but thank the Lord she is doing better now. She ran a fever of 103 for about 5 days (since last Friday) but the fever finally broke yesterday afternoon. We had xrays and lab work done yesterday and everything came back ok as far as pnuemonia. She just has a really bad sinus infection and the flu. Please continue to pray that she will recover quickly and get back to her normal self soon. We are all adjusting to life as a family of 4 but so far so good considering the circumstances! I don't have near as much time as before to blog (I can't imagine why!) but wanted to get a few pics up really fast so those of you out of town could see pics of my handsome little man! We will update more when we get a chance!
