Friday, July 14th - First Food Experience!

Emma tasted her first food on July 14th. Alex fed her instant mashed potatoes(our pediatrician recommended this instead of the baby cereal since it has a little more taste to it)....and he had so much fun feeding her. I was actually surprised that the whole experience wasn't as messy as I had thought it would be. Emma took several "bites" and rolled them around in her mouth making very funny faces...but she swallowed and didn't spit it back out at us. She has since then had bannanas as well as apple sauce. As you can tell she's definately not hurting for nutrition as she east so well with breastfeeding, but it's a fun way for Alex to be able to feed her once in a while for a "snack".
